GO ELECTRIC ON TOUR
I designed a visual identity for Ford’s Go Electric touring experience including a logo for ‘E-Launch’ (a 50 metre 1.2G ride). Taking design cues from theme park ride branding; combining bold typography, charging bars and lightning bolts in a visually impactful way to attract as many visitors as possible into attending the event to learn more about electric driving and the future of mobility from Ford’s perspective. After a series of collaborative client discussions, I presented a ‘Key Visual’ to showcase the experience idea and graphic style within a poster format. I then constructed a guidelines toolkit and oversaw the project roll-out including digital marketing, info films and a video souvenir of E-Launch. I personally designed the print marketing, experience walkthrough interactives and infographic touch points. The tour debuted at Frankfurt Motor Show, followed by Marble Arch, London where it hosted the European launch of MACH-E: Ford’s All-Electric Mustang, before continuing it’s European tour.
