GO FASTER EXPERIENCE
A movie-making, stunt driving immersive experience, where you learn how to drift, J-turn, and hand-brake park in a Focus RS and 5.0 V8 Mustang and then filmed playing the part of getaway driver ‘Wheels’. You receive your Hollywood style movie trailer and poster the same day. I was responsible for the creation and implementation of the visual identity. The brief specified that the marketing needed to look exciting enough to entice people to want to pay for the event. After several client workshops I created a ‘key visual’ showcasing the experience idea within a ‘Hollywood movie’ style visual identity. I then designed the digital and environmental graphics whilst also directing VI consistency to the wider creative team and partners. A timeline showing all graphic assets and communications from pre-event to post was then put together. This swagger-worthy content reached the masses through social, and earned media turning all into ‘Hollywood’ stars of the campaign. +92% in favourable opinion 60% under 35 68% non-Ford owners 2.4bn media impressions. Campaign Event Awards: Winner – Digital Experience Innovative Activation/Event of the year – The Drum. Go Faster was the first immersive experience from Ford’s Go Platform channel. Others to follow were Go Success and Go Electric.
