Ford’s presence at Goodwood Festival of Speed each year has been pinnacle in launching new products and elevating the core brand to its 150,000 visitors including media buffs from a spectrum of lifestyle and motoring magazines and social media influencers from all over Europe. 2019 saw the launch Ford’s Focus ST. To experience the ‘Thrill of ST’ and draw visitors to the stand a rollercoaster ride was built around the exterior. 4 floors of the stand were full of activations and touch points, with the visitor taking away souvenir photos of their experiences and a better understanding of Ford’s latest vehicles and brand values. I created a visual identity for the event using speed motion graphics in blues and reds with bold typography to amplify the Ford Performance ST messaging and echo the buzz and energy of the festival. This was applied to all visitor touch points including navigation totems, activation backdrops, giveaways, online marketing, movies and stand exterior.
