As 2D lead I designed the event VI for the gobal reveal of the New Ford Focus where 200 journalists attended followed by a Deep Dive and a touring consumer campaign across Europe. We filled MY FOCUS with people for the Key Visual to emphasise the car being designed around the needs of the customer. We then developed guidelines and a journey timeline visual for rollout. The staged reveal used a giant LED screen as a backdrop with stretched holo-gauze in the foreground for clever layering of content to give depth. The final reveal moment culminated with a number of filmed customer profiles spinning into the vehicle. The ‘Deep Dive‘ saw the guests rotated through four ‘workshops’ to learn more about the new car.
