As lead designer I was central in devising the visual identity and formulating the presentation in response to a pitch brief from Porsche to provide an overall communication design for trade fairs 2020–2022. Porsche’s mantra for intelligent performance with emotion and passion whilst reaching for the future was the basis for creating the ‘Accelerator’. This simple forward motion graphical device could be dialed up and down to fit a spectrum of communication requirements. Porsche China liked the creative proposal for Geneva Europe, so much so that they developed it into an impressive installation at Pudong Airport. It’s one of the most iconic representations of Porsche and of OOH advertising in Shanghai. Visitors are captivated by the design and the experience is synonymous with forward thought, progression and excitement as people flow out of Shanghai onto exciting destinations.
